Election Commission has already laid ban for a movie related to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as it is election-time in the country. Now, Election Commission has banned a web-series which is again about Prime Minster Narendra Modi.
As it is election time in the country, election commission is banning any movies or documentary related to political leaders. Already, the Election Commission of India has banned the film, “PM Narendra Modi“, directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Suresh Oberoi, Sandeep Singh, Anand Pandit and Archana Manish.
Election commission has also banned another movie, “Lakshmi’s NTR” which is all about the Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao’s life after entering into the politics and about why and how he married “Lakshmi Parvathi” and how she played an important role in NTR’s life which made the plot of the story. This movie was directed by Ram Gopal Varma and Agasthya Manju. Produced by Deepthi Balagiri and Rakesh Reddy.
Following these bans, election commission has also banned a web series, “Modi: Journey of a Common Man“. This is a web series produced by Eros Motion Pictures and Benchmark Pictures and directed by Umesh Shukla.
The web series is a 10-episode series in which five episodes have already been released. The ban would apply for the remaining 5 series yet to be released.
